BIO: Kathryn Wood received her English degree at UVA. She is a poet and flash-nonfiction author disguised as a nurse. Between bursts of dancing and a bounty of bellyrubs for her sweet mutt Mildred, she writes to the sound of pinyon jays and coyotes on the Northern New Mexico mesa. She is currently editing her lyrical memoir, Histrionics, available within the year. She is published in Hoochie, JumbleDWords and Writing through the Apocalypse. She can be found on Substack @katbirdword.
