Artist’s Statement:

My use of TextArt for The Velvet Underground theme is essentially playful, and as a poetic art form, it embraces the avant-garde of the band itself: this is conveyed in the found outcomes of the generative process – the transitions through the changes in font size (here across 2 versions out of an original 5). The cut-ups of the band’s name are a further, simple experimental aspect.
