What I Hear When I Read the List of Words at Risk of Removal Because of Trump’s Executive Order

Imago Dei

The Gospel of John 1:14 (NIV)

images of Jesus gone viral

                        The Word became

A.I.

                         flesh and made

on screen

                         his dwelling

Jesus boxing Satan

among us

tall, six-packed, chiseled

We have seen his glory

a facial twin of Jared Leto

                        the glory of the one

likes in the thousands

                        and only Son

the click of a finger

                        who came from

a set of algorithms

the Father

not of this world

  full of

his exalted self

grace and truth

savior or influencer?
