Dauphin Island
he had a baby tooth intact in his lower left jaw
the decedents partial remains were discovered on a beach on dauphin island alabama by a
fisherman
the skull was discovered first & additional bones were eventually recovered
it was initially believed the remains were of a younger individual based on the size of the
decedent
it is possible that he fell off of a boat or possibly died in a helicopter crash
dauphin island is a barrier island located 33 miles from mobile alabama 130 miles to the east of
new orleans louisiana on the alabama gulf coast
Saraland
he was wearing a short sleeved polo style knights of roundtable brand shirt w/ horizontal green
stripes
long dark trousers labeled magic stretch by haggar
white boxer style briefs
no shoes or socks at the scene
dense woods near interstate 65
he is known to authorities as woody
Scottsboro
several healed slash marks on wrists
the decedent was struck by a vehicle on john T reid parkway
adjacent to western sizzlin
he appeared to be hitchhiking & had no identification
identifying marks
or tattoos
a piece of paper w/ a phone number belonging to a man in kentucky was found on the decedent
upon speaking to the man it was discovered he had given the decedent a ride prior to the decedents arrival
to scottsboro
the man was unable to give investigators further information other than he was possibly traveling to florida

light colored long sleeved shirt w/ blue gray & olive drab irregular design resembling a
camouflage type design
light colored boxer type undershorts
heavy metal medallion type frame
w/ no discernible lettering
copper colored medallion w/ the inscription new orleans at the top surround by a frame
the letters F
R
E
& N are present just below the new orleans sign
an elongated building beneath the latter word
to the right of the building are a male & female dancing
the inscriptions MARD & GRAS are present below the dancers
the inscription ST. LOUIS CATHEDRAL w/ an etched design of a complex of buildings below
the dancers
bits of corroded metal chain type of necklace
ornate ring w/ ten white insets which appear consistent w/ rhinestones w/ remnants of etched
letters on the inner aspect that cannot be discerned
copper colored bracelet w/ native american type designs & an imprint of an owl
1967 lincoln US penny
skeletal remains were found by a coal drilling crew performing mineral research
the remains were found in a remote area approximately 200 feet south of the old daniel payne
college campus
daniel payne college had been closed since 1979 after sustaining significant damage from a
tornado in april 1977
North Birmingham Golf Course
blue white yellow striped long sleeved sport shirt
green polyester type dress pants
brown leather belt w/ metal belt buckle
key ring w/ 3 keys attached
scattered skeletal remains were discovered by surveyors in a wooded area behind the north
birmingham golf course
which is now the location of carver high school
