BIO: BRASSWAX is the composer of The Mirror of Simple Souls, an opera collaboration with the poet Anne Carson, and the author of several chapbooks of poems and prose. Originally from the Detroit area, he now lives in occupied Duwamish territory in Seattle, where he writes, publishes, and records, as well as performing and exhibiting around the Pacific Northwest.
