BIO: A. Morgan McKendry (they/them) is a Brooklyn-based interdisciplinary artist and writer working under the moniker slimebubble. Their practice moves between digital collage, ritual text, and time-based performance, weaving together art history, occult systems, and computational language. Drawing from esoteric traditions, feminist mysticism, and media theory, McKendry constructs works that treat images as living interfaces and language as spellcraft.
They hold a BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University and an MA in Art & Museum Studies from Georgetown University. Their ongoing manuscript project, Spell Code: A Technomancer’s Guide, explores correspondences between symbolic systems and contemporary digital life.
